The University of Virginia Cavaliers football team is known around the nation as one of the best college football teams in the nation, and there are many reasons why this is so, including these five reasons.

1) They have a winning record

The University of Virginia's football team just won their fourth ACC championship this year. They have also had six top-ten finishes and twelve bowl game appearances. This season, they rank number two in total yards per play and tenth in points per game. It's not hard to see why UVA football has been ranked one of the best teams in college sports for years.

The University of Virginia's sports teams are always a favorite of passionate sports fans. The UVA football team has had a long and successful history. They have won four national championships, twenty-seven conference titles, and eight divisional championships. This makes them tied for second all time in NCAA Division I FBS national championships. What's even more impressive is that they are one of only two teams to ever go undefeated in NCAA Division I FBS history.
